The three-day event, themed “From Butte to Beyond: 125 Years of Mining Engineering at Montana Tech,” is set to honor the program’s enduring legacy and its impact on the global mining industry.
The celebration, scheduled for September 25–27, aims to reflect on the program’s past achievements while looking towards the future. “It is exciting to host a celebration of our mining history and to explore where Montana Tech, and the mining industry, are headed for the next 125 years,” said Mining Engineering Department Head Scott Rosenthal.
